日本電子遊戲機大廠索尼Sony，於週四宣布，將於今年底發售PlayStation5(PS5)遊戲機，並同步發售更多新的遊戲產品。
PlayStation5全新次世代主機擺脫以往沉穩深色的設計，改以科技感十足的時髦外觀令人耳目一新，還有30款首發遊戲大公開！備有客製化 CPU、GPU、SSD以及綜合I/O系統，以強大的性能改寫PlayStation主機的極限，支援觸覺回饋、自適應觸發器和 3D 音訊技術，讓玩家發掘更深刻的遊戲體驗。
根據索尼Sony公告，PS5遊戲機有兩種款項，其中一款沒有磁碟驅動器，也就是所有線上遊戲透過互聯網下載後，價錢會相對較便宜。
同時，索尼在推出PlayStation5的同時，也會推出部分配件與新的遊戲產品。
不過，公司尚未正式提及PS5的發售時間與售價，一般相信該款新機型將會於今年底前發售。
